Ready to take off

The greylag goose is the largest wild goose native to Europe.

The natural habitat of this bird consists of a variety of wetlands including marshes, lakes, damp heather moors and low-lying grassy fields in river valleys.

Greylag geese are primarily grazing birds but also grain, root crops and leafy vegetation are part of their food.

Dutch name : Grauwe gans
German name : Graugans
Latin name : Anser anser

Im richtigen Moment ausgelöst, klasse. Bei uns wurden sie nahezu vollständig von Kanadiern und Nilgänsen verdrängt.
