"Reflecting Abscence"-9/11 Memorial pools

Ich kann meine Gefühle beim Besuch der 9/11 Memorial Pools, wo einst die Twin Towers standen, schwer in Worte fassen.

It’s hard to put into words how I felt as I was standing in front of the “Reflecting Absence” waterfalls in the twin tower footprints for the first time.

So let the photos speak for themselves.

On the left:
South Pool with One World Trade Center (up to the 83rd floor)

Middle:
Top: Symbol / Tribute item
Middle: South Pool with the 9/11 Memorial Museum, (opens 2012)
Bottom: North Pool with the 9/11 Memorial Museum (inside you see the 2 remaining beams from the Twin Tower

....eine sehr gefühlvolle Arbeit .....ich kann Dich verstehen...ich kann meine Gefühle bei meinem Besuch dort auch nicht beschreiben...die Trauer ist so sehr spürbar dort und wird niemals vergehen..

eine wirklich klasse collage mit tollen bildern. jedes einzelne hat seinen reiz. hatte ich damala gar nicht gesehen, aber ronald gab mir den tipp und ich bin sehr froh drüber. jetzt weiß ich auch, was ich beim nächsten besuch in new york zur blauen stunde machen werde ;))))

Sehr schöne Zusammenstellung, gefällt mir wirklich gut. Als ich letztes Jahr dort war, war alles noch Baustelle.
