In heavy fog it looks similar with us.
I have read about sandstorms and can hardly imagine it.
In Denmark, we once experienced an invasion of ladybugs on the beach. We were not allowed to open a door or even say anything, immediately you had the animals in your mouth... it was horrible.

  thank you, Babs - I can imagine .... this happened to us with flies
  in Australia - almost impossible to eat outside (at least in that area and at that time).

Excellent rendering of the atmosphere in a sandstorm. South of the Magreb, these storms are often encountered as well. Chris.

Sehen tut man da fast nichts mehr. Bei starken Nebel schaut es bei uns so ähnlich aus.
