Mit einer hohen Eichen Diversität und Abundanz ist die Landschaft landeinwärts von San Francisco im "Winter" ungewöhnlich aber interessant. Es ist verhältnismäßig grün, aber dennoch haben die Eichen keine Blätter. Hier gezeigt ist ein Bild vom Mount Diablo der mit 1.160 Metern der höchste Punkt im Contra Costa County ist. Gemacht im Januar 2018.

The high diversity and abundance of oaks leads to a beautiful, yet unusual “winter” landscape near San Francisco in the Contra Costa County. On the one hand its comparable green and on the other hand most oaks appear without leaves. This picture shows the Mount Diablo (3,849 feet) in the background. Taken in January 2018.
