I like this composition, looking slightly downwards, placing the swan in the centre of an "abstract pattern".
It's a shame that the swan's head is very slightly out of focus. It also appears to be a touch overexposed. A good effort all the same.
Like I've mentioned many times before, someone doesn't have to be anguished when searching for the perfect shot. From all around, lots of things (or humans, animals, elements, anything) are inviting us every day, just to take a simple look of them, pay a little more attention. Not by making noise or provoking our interest with an unmannered tone; but with blandness, politeness and (or even) peacefulness.
This might be the reason why your particular picture is successful too. And because of the fact that it seems you respect this pure white swan, the rest of us (the viewers) are allowed to be familiar with the animal's gentle way of living.
Technically, it is a simple photo, needed no more than a simple lift of your camera and then... simply click! On the other hand, I believe that noone will ever focus on the exposure the colortones or (perhaps) the sharpness of the image. For whatever the photographer (you) wanted to inform her audience (us) about has been "said" clearly enough. And thus, we are dealing now with a perfect information (aren't we?).
All the best, Enne See.
