The Flight of the Canadian Geese

The Geese were trying to find some leftover kernels of corn in this snow covered field. I did not even noticed them sitting there, as my attention was directed to the other side of the field, until they all took off in flight as I was getting to close for their comfort.

while your Canada Geese are fleeing the cold snow,
ours are starting the mating game by cleaning and
preening themselves :-))) a beautiful panoramic
landscape image ... and so, so many geese in
flight !!!

Hat so etwas von einem Suchbild. Aber ich habe sie gefunden.
Dann werden sie ja wohl auch bald wieder hier bei mir an den Teichen sein. Eine Single-Gans hat hier schon ueberwintert.

Usually I do not get this close as I take my dog along to photograph landscapes. She usually scares the birds. So this is a good shot of the Geese avoiding human contact.
