The Fungi World (322) : Pear-shaped Puffball

The pear-shaped puffball is a small but conspicuous fungus covered with tiny granules.

Grows mostly on dead wood of rotten logs or stumps.

Dutch name : Peervormig Stuifzwammetje
German name : Birnen-Stäubling
Latin name : Lycoperdon pyriforme
