The March Home

You can tell she has completed her chores after visiting the market. The wear in her face tells the story. She is struggling at her pace and finds it hard to breath. The street is constructed of cobble stone that is slick when wet. The slight incline makes it dangerous.. She is focused for the long walk home, and takes it one step at a time while straining with her plastic bag which draw tension in her arm... With a little faith she will reach home.

It's not only the wonderful captured portrait, but
more even the contrast of her struggling foreward
against the motorcycle behind as a symbol of
a bit more comfort and income.
    regards Berthold

Her face expresses the struggle and tireness of the day but also the bitterness of a hursh routine that has to be repeated for as long as her legs can stand it...
    Strong and emotional pic.

Nice shot placement using the shrine in the background of her walk in faith home.

great story telling in your image and words ... an excellent capture of her worn-out expression ... and I like the niche for praying in the background !!!
