The old bridge

Western Greece Zagorochoria (East Zagori)
The old handmade bridge of Kamber Aga on the river Zagoritis(built on 1780).
Tradition goes like that:
The Turk region prefecture Kamber Aga called a famous christian mason builder and paid him handsomely to build the bridge. At the inauguration day, the bridge under the weight collapsed! Then Kamber Aga said to him:
"I'll give you one more chance. If the bridge again falls, your head will also fall.."
Obviously it stayed...

    great!! this one caught my eye immediately when scanning your gallery overview! there is an aura of enchantment about it: the seeming fragility of the ancient rock bridge, the way it's arching gracefully, somewhat felinely ; ), across the river, the lightness of being in the spring mood and blooming trees – it's like like visual music!!! and beautifully composed, too, with all those different levels to explore – river, bridge, trees, mountains, sky. greetings, sabine. p.s.: love the legend of its origin you relate in your caption. it even enhances the aura and appeal of the bridge!

    That was the first what came to my mind. Viewpoint is ideal for that place:-)
