The Tavern

This is a tavern in the middle of nowhere in the natural preserve "Frankenwald". It was built on a slope next to the river "Wilde Rodach". I chose this perspective to get all of the just named elements in my picture. As it was a very dull november day with the sky giving almost nothing spectacular but a bright grey tone, I decided to post-process the picture into a kind of creepy style with less vibrance and saturation but a boost of clarity and contrast. I hope you like my idea and enjoy watching.
The image was merged of 2 single exposures (55s, 180s). I used my ND1000 (10 stops) filter to get this slow shutter speed, as I wanted the water surface to be relatively calm and capture the smoke coming out of the chimney. The 3rd exposure I made (120s) had a disturbing lighttrail from a car in it which I remarked not until being back at home, therefore I had just the 2 exposures to merge.

Sehr schön gemacht. Das "Gemälde" würde ich sofort aufhängen.
