Traditional Slovak Wooden house-detail

This is the detail of the traditional Slovak wooden house. People used to build such houses in the past, nowadays they are to be seen only in some villages in the northern Slovakia, either inhabited by very old people or used as weekend houses. Or in the couple of so called open-air folk museums periodly equiped and available for tourists to learn how people lived in those days. Originally, they were built without any nails.

Nice graphic pic. I've been to Slovakia a couple of times and like it very much. I saw some wooden houses at Cicmany.
