Transience of the Forest

A moment of intersection in a forest in The Netherlands. While trees live much longer than we do, they too must end eventually. The transient nature of life exposed in the contrast between the living and the dead. The cut trunks stacked neatly along a road that vanishes into the forest. The road too shall pass.
