Walking in a winter wonderland.

For Rob who is sick of seeing the canal boats lololol !!
Taken last year ( 31st December 2008 lol ) early morning in the woods, cold, frosty and misty. I was experimenting with composition and height -hence although it would still look good cropped shorter that was not my idea for the picture. The walker gives some idea of height and of course human interest to the picture.

Thankyou sa ;-))...Just what I needed to take my mind of the heat here. I can feel the damp in the air and the fresh coolness on my face in this scene. The walker gives good scale too..nice job..cheers..Rob

Yes, i agree with the comments on this one. Some very good points of note. To add my ten pennorth, I would have liked you to take a step to the left, moving the pathway over to the right, waway from the centre of the image. the exposure is good. Also, a slightly lower angle would have increased the depth of the image too.

(But at your age I can understand that you don't want to bend down too far! Lol!!)

Well, that'll be another slap on the way for me then!

Excellent picture, although i feel all the interest is in the lower part of the picture and i would have cropped to there.

Lynn this is a stunning scene. The picture lends itself to various options for cropping.
Your choice works well. There is an interesting mood this shot.
