Welcome to Trondheim
the fourth village/town/city we visited on our Norwegian cruise in July... a very picturesque place, and I will show you a few of my pictures...
Trondheim is a city and municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. As of 2020, it had a population of 205,332. Trondheim lies on the south shore of Trondheim Fjord at the mouth of the River Nidelva.The settlement was founded in 997 as a trading post and served as the capital of Norway from the Viking Age until 1217. From 1152 to 1537, the city was the seat of the Catholic Archdiocese of Nidaros.. It was incorporated in 183, and the current municipality was formed in 1964.

This type of gondoliere has a more convenient way of shipping than in venice. He has not to scull and not to sing ;-). A typical scandinavian atmosphere with these colourful houses in the background.Warm regards Bernd

Excellente et jolie photo de ces façades très géométriques et graphiques caractéristique de cette ville La sévérité du sujet est adoucie par la présence et le signe de vie de la barque et ses passagersMerci du réveil de mes souvenirs .
