Witch Rangda in standing position

Rangda is the demon queen of the leyaks in Bali, according to traditional Balinese mythology.
This figure is a creation of master I Wayan Tangguh.
The opposite pole to the gods is represented by an army of demons, evil spirits, witches and monsters, who are represented with long fangs, goggle eyes and claws. You can find pictorial representations everywhere, whether in the hotel garden or in the temple.
Among them, for example, the witch princess Rangda with her assistants, and Leyak, who develop their power in the night and can bring death and destruction to people. Rangda is the worst of all witches. In order to appease her bad temper, she is given victims every day.
