So schön gefärbte Gallen dieser Art hab ich bisher selten oder nie gesehen; oft bleiben sie bis zum Schluß hellbraun. Sicher spielen bei der Ausfärbung auch Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit sowie die Ernährungssituation des Baumes eine Rolle.
