This beautiful parrot from South America, has always been one of my Favourites.
Tomorrow I hope to travel to Ravenshoe, where I will see my Daughter Wendy,
Have not seen her for 7 months.
I also hope to rest up before my trip to Asia, which should be for 4-5 months.
Will be able to access the net soon and reply to you all.

our magpies
are as wild
and difficult to photograph
as our iconic ravens -
they don't speak in words
(like the colourful one in your portrait ;-))
but the light in their eyes
tells people
the wilderness belongs
to the wild ...
