The real Little Mermaid.
Sculptured in 1913 by Edvard Eriksen after the Hans Christian Andersen fairytale.
The most photographed subject in Denmark. Mostly used as background for selfio’s.
In 2013 she was on loan in Shanghai, China for half a year. Chines people love her.

In Italian she is called "la Sirenetta" . We all love her because we think she is the protagonist of a famous fairy story for children.
There are many other Mermaids in Denmark, all blond and pretty, but this one will be Always the Chief.
    Regards Thomas, and greetings amc
