I didn't know the ship was going to be moved from its location, so you're really giving me interesting information.I know it is a youth hostel and really wanted to spend a couple of nights there when I visited Stockholm. Unfortunately the place was full and I couldn't reserve a bed...
Anyway, thank you very much for your kind comment...I was searching for a "touch of color" for my pic since the sky was a bit dull that day...

Hej Allesandro!Your had been lucky to be in Stockholm at the right time: currently the ship is in the dry dock, to do some really necessary repairs. Since the last general overhaul some decades ago, corrosion has taken it's toll, so now several million SEK are spent to get the ship modernized and make it waterproof (from above and from below!) again.
It will be back this year (2007) in June/July.
It is an official youth hostel, so if you are looking for an unusual place to spend some nights, here it is!
