You (and Ulli) are right. The picture is not perfectly orthogonal. I realized it after Ulli remarked it ...

When I was working with the Nikon Coolpix (which was stolen), it was essential to correct the lens distortion. I used PanoTools (or later PTLens) to do this, because I only got PS 5 LE, where you can't correct the perspective. Now I own also PS Element 2, which has the perspective correction.

Allow me some (detailed) criticism...
I hesitated to put this into voting, and I did not do it because of the following reason...
It is not perfectly orthogonal... The horizontal lines are slightly sloping. It is only a few pixels, but it spoils the perfect composition. There is also some curved lens distortion (I sometimes correct that in PS for my photos)
This is one of my favorite images of yours! I absolutely love it, but I keep noticing the flaw... Do you agree with me? (Do you ever correct the perspective in PS?)

schlicht großartig, das bild. und es beweist wieder einmal, dass die besten motive oft ganz einfach sind - aber man muss sie erst einmal finden!

Sehr schoene Farben und Schaerfe!
Die Perspektive finde ich auch klasse, schade nur, dass das Bild geringfuegig nach rechts kippt.
