The monochrome makes the landscape look so barren but at the same time so very interesting. I like very much the splashes of light on the water.

the little town picturesque .... the poverty can only be imagined in the barren rough landscape that seems too dry to produce anything - there is hope for fish in the lake and little boats tied to the shore .... a fine black and white !!!!

In spite of the poverty of this area that you tell us about, this is stil so picturesque.......but that ground does seem rather rough and stoney......
