BLUE METAMORPHOSIS
Hatching weevil (Pissodes piceae). Pupal chamber was created
by larva from bast fibres to protect the pupa against fungi which
can be seen as blue colour in background. This species becomes
still scarcer after intensive and unreplaced extraction of its host
tree - Abies alba.. Blue fungi can be found even more rarely.
