The poppies in my garden are emerging all over the place! All red and only one purple one funnily enough!

great shot, sally!! poppies always burst forth, like chicks leaving their eggshells – or cinderella's dress popping out the hazelnut shell… ; )). hope it's one of those big "frilled" ones whose petals look like flamenco skirts… hugs, sabine. p.s.: i think i've never seen a purple one!! sounds very extravagantly beautiful!
