Seit Jahren liest man immer wieder es gibt ungefähr 20.000 Löwen in Afrika. Gleichzeitig heißt es, die Zahl der Löwen nimmt rapide ab. Nur eine dieser beiden Aussagen kann der Wahrheit entsprechen.

Davon abgesehen, erinnert mich das Bild an ein früheres von mir:

For years, it's been said that there are about 20,000 lions left in Africa. At the same time, the same sources say that lion numbers are dwindling. Only one of these two statements can be true.
