Castle Fallais (Belgium)

The history of this castle goes back to the 11th century when there was already a medieval stronghold on this spot.

The present castle however was largely built in the 13th century with restoration works taking place in the 19th and 20th century.

(PS : after taking this picture (on private land, I admit), I had to run for my life as I was attacked by a gang of 20 bulls gone wild !)

Mark, wonderful capture under the following conditions. Was this near the swampland? How far were you away from the cows? Be careful.

Wonderful combination of this classy castle and the trio of grazing cows ... the scene has a mideaval feel to it for me ... technically perfect - of course. What a story, what luck that you got away :-))))) What photographers go through to get a good shot !!!!!
