Central Park Autumn No.10 - An Infrared Impression

It's an autumn afternoon in the Loch region of the upper northwest reaches of New York's Central Park.

The "mission" here was really to enjoy the rich colors of autumn, while exploring some familiar areas of the Park, as well as discovering some new (to me) areas; and the digital cameras were serving nicely in capturing the hues of autumn. (*)

But I also had a film SLR along, loaded with a roll from my freezer-stash of Kodak HIE Infrared Black and White film, and the bold and complex forms of the branches of this grand old tree just called out for some black and white treatment.

Taken in November 2019, this is the photo's first appearance.
