Che Guevara everywhere
The image of Che Guevara is placed everywhere on Cuba island. The likeness of Che is the most famous one on the world. This display was seen in Baracoa on a stone wall beside the mainroad downtown city.
Che Guevara was a Marxist revolutionary allied with Fidel Castro who went on to become an iconic cultural hero not only in Cuba. He was murdered by a Bolivian soldier in order by CIA on October 9, 1967.
Guevara's life continues to be a subject of great public interest and been explored and portrayed in numerous books and films.

Baracoa: ich liebe es! Che gehört dazu. Er kann nichts böses mehr anrichten. Er ist seit 50 Jahren tot. Vorher allerdings ist auch er bis zu den Knien im Blut gewatet. Jetzt ist er der Heilsbringer. Und das ganze am tristen Malecón dieser herrlichen kleinen Stadt.HG Matthias
