Civil War Reenactment #2.....

......canon regiment opening fire on a Union camp on the other side of a bridge, they moved the canons up at night and surprised the Yankees while they were eating breakfast, and was the only reason that the real battle ended in the favor of the Confederacy, because without the sneak attack they were way out numbered.....

Good shot that could have been taken in the heat of the battle. Nice timing to get the smoke.

A fine capture taken as the cannon were fired.....and surely, that was how battles were fought, you snuck up on your adversary if you could.......
