Charles' comments are always so enlightening. I too am enjoying your play with light and play. Like the shot, but I think a touch more texture on the wall would give it some umph.

Hi Rohan, I thought so because of the shadow at the window: the light seems to come from below. Looked odd.
You are right about the palm leaves, they really add to the composition.

Hi Rohan, very nice. I am a big fan of simplicity and light.
I like the texture of the wall, the wee bit of the palm, the centering of the window, the hard shadow of the window, and soft shadows of the palm in hot highlights of the wall. I know myself, I will find myself returning to this window and take photos at diffrent times of the day, and because of the contrast of the wall vs the window, you can expeirment with diffrent underexposure settings to bring out more texture in the wall and the window. Rohan, very nice and looks like you are on a nice photo adventure of light and texture, a breath of life and form.

Hey Robert,Thanks for your comment, just to let you know this is not up side down, Its the palm tree leaves that are taken in to focus because i didnt want the window and just the wall to be dead but some thing alive in the picture.
I need to learn a lot so I am jsut trying diff things to make more sense in a picture than just shooting something.
    Hope that answers your ?.

    Hi Rohan,
nice simple composition (though I might have cropped it differently) but why is it up-side-down? Is that intentional?

    greetings, Robert
