Eilean Donan Castle

Und nochmal das Eilean Donan Castle, diesmal zur blauen Stunde und irgendjemand hatte sogar das Licht angemacht. Das Bild ist ein Panorama aus 5 Bildeinheiten à 6 Einzelbildern mit 1,3sec, 2,5sec, 5sec, 8sec, 15sec, 30sec Belichtungszeit. Wie immer bei solchen Eskapaden sind Dinge, die sich bewegen, unerwünscht, da sie bei der Nachbearbeitung zum Alptraum werden können. Bei diesem Bild waren es nicht nur die Wolken, sondern auch die einsetzende Ebbe, die ein zügiges Arbeiten erforderten, kamen doch die Steine im Vordergrund immer weiter aus dem Wasser heraus.... Glücklicherweise paßte am Ende alles :-)

And again the Eilean Donan Castle, this time at the blue hour and somebody even had switched the light on. This picture is a panorama that consists of 5 picture units à 6 single pictures with 1,3sec, 2,5sec, 5sec, 8sec, 15sec, 30sec exposure time, blended together for maximum detail in the lights, midtones and darks. As usual, when shooting pictures like this, moving things are not wanted, as they can become a nightmare during post-processing. Here, it was not only the clouds that moved, but also the change from high to low tide which required swift working, as the rocks in the foreground emerged more and more out of the water…..luckily, everything did fit together in the end :-)
