Hiya Stefano - I just wanted to drop you another line on this particular photo. If I weren't a seminarian, I wouldn't know what is going on in this photo, but if you don't mind I would like to explain it to the casual observer. While it is a little known fact, Muslims to not hold the record for the number of times that the faithful pray throughout the day. The Mass is celebrated daily, but that is not all. There is also the Liturgy of the Hours, also known as the Divine Office. This has been prayed from the begining of the Church and finds its origin in the Jewish practice of praying the Psalms. While all members of the Catholic faithful are encouraged to pray the Divine Office, priests and religious are bound to pray the Divine Office daily. The Divine Office is the "Official Prayer" of the Church along with the Mass and comprises her daily liturgy. The Divine Office is comprised of seven "hours" or times in which we stop to pray. This is to sanctify the day and part of praying everywhere and always to God the Father. So, since these to priests are bound to pray the Divine Office daily, travel doesn't make you exempt, that's what they are doing. So, the Father on the right is not actually confused. He's actually deep in prayer. This of course was just all for your information. I hope it helps. Thank you for listening and again...nice photo...

    Thanx both of you!
I'm posting this picture after some weeks of inactivity. I've been laying down on a hospital bed for some days... I will post a couple of pictures of that "vacation"!

Obviously, I'm happy to receive comments.
And - may I be a lil' bit cocky? Thanx. The one on the right side is naturally representing the Knowledge. But the one on the left... do you think he's Enlighted? Doesn't he look thoughtful and confused?
Fine. So, who's very Enlighted in this situation?

    ;)

Hello Stefano - I just wanted to say that I really appreciate this photo. First, I like the light contrast and the differing directions of the two "subjects". I don't know if I said that right. But the biggest thing, is that you captured a great "moment". I like it. Also, I am a seminarian currently studying for the Catholic priesthood. So, the picture hits home. - thank you
