    Hello Ellen,
    We did have 2 dackels, Sigi who died March `03 and Otto who died in April this year. They were both 12 and we had them both as puppies, we were absolutely devastated. Last Monday the 27th of September we were fortunate to adopt 2 rescue dackels. Evie a 2 1/2 year old speyed bitch and her brother Jay a 3 1/2 year old castrated dog. We have been unbelievably lucky. They are absolutely beautiful and full of love and affection. I intend to upload a photo of Jay next week. By the way Jay is the double of Sigi not only in looks but also in character.

    Oh Suuuuuper!!! Herzlichen Glückwunsch zu den Neuen Hunden. Das freut mich, das ihr euch nach dem schweren Abschied von euren letzten Beiden wieder dazu entschließen konntet das Leben wieder mit Hunden zu teilen.
    Evie ist ja eine zauberhafte Maus, und das Bild von ihr ist klasse. Zeig uns auch den zweiten Dachshund.

    Hi Donald, Oh Evie is so pretty but tell me, is she a new one ? Do I remember that you lost 2dogs ? Maybe 2 years ago, is that correct ? So you have 2 new Dackelhündinnen now ? Lucky you. The FC member Annette Esser is visiting me in Gran Canaria for one week and although we only met through writing we both have a good feeling. Her hiusband is taking a weeks holiday to look after their pets and we want to take super photos. I am taking my laptop and all being well you will have a Fotomail from us. Best regards Nana-Ellen

    Welch eine hübsche Hündin ... Dackel haben so hübsche Gesichter und sind vom Wesen her so richtig pfiffig.
    Hoffentlich lehren sie den Jack Russel von nebenan was Sache ist ... oder besser gleich den Nachbarn ....
    Stichwort: Margarat ... die Geschichte ist mir sehr zu Herzen gegengen ...
