yes, that is the question, isn't it? you see me clueless but in awe of the amazing skills and ambitions of those ancient architects! my favorite detail: the shadows cast by the camels – like hieroglyphs i fail to decipher… ; ) greetings, sabine. p.s.: very impressive that look UP!

The equivalent of our modern day sky-scrapers.......but I think that these will last so much longer, so for me, admiration for the building skills of those ancient craftsmen.
A superb picture and the two camels and their riders add excellent scale to the pyramid. Good details and tones.
