what a great "action capture" of the heron and the starcrossed little fish – he still seems to be wiggling and thrashing his tail to get away. it's of no use, judging from the cool, detached, almost dreamy look of the heron's eye – an accomplished hunter that's very sure of himself and his success ; )), despite the wicked wind ruffling his feathers and distracting him from his prey… greetings, sabine. p.s.: the lush green grass in the back evokes such a great spring feel!

Great shot of this moment ... not easy to take when it's windy and when the heron is so fast in his movements. Beautiful capture with great light and fine sharpness.
