Kerria is a deciduous shrub native to China, Japan and Korea where it grows on mountain slopes.

Kerria is valued in gardens all over the world for its bright yellow flowers which appear in spring.

German name : Japanische Kerrie (auch Ranunkelstrauch oder Goldröschen genannt)
Latin name : Kerria japonica var. pleniflora

the almost spherical shape of this kerria blossom and its tropical tint of soft, soft yellow – so special looking and so aggreable to the eye, which is otherwise being confronted with so much bright, glaring yellow these early spring days! cleverly presented against the jungly green background! it brings out its fruity mango yellow beautifully! greetings, sabine.
