Kids of Karakul

Desolate, wild and remote - Karakul, a small settlement located within the autonomous province Gorno-Badakhshan in Tajikistan is a one of a kind. Far away from the digital way of life that has been encircling us we are astounded by the huge amount of confidence that the children have in us when thy first encounter us. There seems to be no barrier at all even though we speak different languages, wear strange plastic outdoor clothing and are riding our classy fully packed bikes.
