Marble Buddha behind a glas shield

The view inside the Kyauktawgyi Buddha Temple in Yangon on the Mindama Hill where the world biggest white marble Buddha is located.
Protected behind glass shield.
This is the largest marble Buddha statue made from a single piece of stone and from the highest grade marble. The construction of this statue took 8 years to complete and the best part was the transportation.
It actually had to be mounted on three barges and was transported through the Yangon river to the present location. Today, the idol is enclaved within a glass case with class one ventilation and silica to keep moisture levels to the optimum so that the gloss remains and there is no decaying of it.
