Das Bild strahlt eine besondere Ruhe aus, nicht zuletzt wegen der Einbeziehung der beiden sitzenden Wanderer, die in diese Atmosphäre mit Entspannung einzutauchen scheinen. Schön auch das Muster der schmalkronigen Hochlagen-Fichten im Hintergrund.
