Mustang view from the north side
The capital and seat of the King of Lo Mantang is located close to the Tibetian border. In the area around are living many Tibetian Khampas or Kham people escaped from the Chinese invasion in Tibet 1959.
Now the influence of the outside world, and especially China, is growing and contributing to rapid change in the lives of Mustang's people.
The slide photo is scanned by a Nikon CoolScan 5000 ED from Kodachrome 50.
