My Trip With Son David Continued, No.3. Please read the story within !!

Part three of the story!!

As David and I are approaching the pub, the barmaid yells out, what will it be love,
Without any hesitation the answer from us is a couple Drysdale burgers and 2 4X.
As we sit down the beers are already cracked and waiting, it is so hot that we swallow
The beers without removing the cans from our quivering lips, as we say in Australia, “It never even
touched the sides.”
Barmaids in Australia address men as LOVE!!
The young lady returns with the burgers and enquires, another beer love, struth, yeah love, is the answer..
The chef had a sign on the bar, looking for a lady to keep the cheffy happy, don’t know if he found one??
We camped here for the night.

I'm not surprised by the barmaid calling you "love" - I'm used to be called "love" when I shop in English country shops ;-)
