Dunnet Head' Leuchtturm kennzeichnet den nördlichsten Punkt des schottischen Festlands.
10km über dem Pentland Firth von Dunnet Head sind die Orkney Inseln.

Mmmmh, irgendwie ist mir der Leuchtturm etwas zu sehr mittig. Und irgendetwas "stört" am linken Bildrand...

The foghorn building is next to the main lighthouse. I think they stopped using the foghorn in the mid-eighties.

In the first moment I saw this foto I thought: "The dome is away!!"
But I think, it´s only an other part of the lighthouse :-)
Right?
I now have to write nearly the same words than to the other foto - realy great, the colors of the ski, the white wall and the red horn!

Die Farben sind so schön - da kann man das Gebilde links ruhig übersehen :-))

Hallo Jimmy! Beeindruckend sind die Farben. Vielleicht hättest Du Hochformat nehmen können? Etwas zu abgeschnitten sieht es unten aus? Ende der Welt? Dahinter kommt doch noch Island und die Arktis*grins* Gruss in die Highlands v. Gerda
