I went for a late afternoon walk and spotted this Brown Goat in a meadow of a biological farm.

Goats are one of the oldest domesticated animals in the world.
9000 years BC (!) they were already kept in India for their milk and meat.

Dutch name : Bruine geit
German name : Braune Ziege
Latin name : Capra aegagrus hircus

that's a beautiful portrait of a lovely brown goat! i'm amazed at her long eyelashes and gentle smile – i know it's not really a smile but it sure looks like one ; )! and the right ear is pointed right at us, as though she were listening intently! great intelligent, cheeky and likable creatures! greetings, sabine.

Deine Ziege ist aber auch nicht von schlechten Eltern,
nur schade, dass man den Bart nicht ganz sieht.
Wäre sicher interessant zu sehen, wie lang der ist.
