Confessions of a landscape photographer.

... today I nearly killed my Canon DSLR :-{

I was walking on the rocks, stood on some slippy stones ... and went flying.
I ended up in the water ... not so bad, I've felt worse .... Canon hit the rocks still in my hand and heard something go crunch .... lens hood in bits and filter covered in mud and water.

This is the test photo to see if everything still works ... not a masterpiece , but it means a lot to me ... everything seems OK ... phew !!
I didn't even get the shot I was trying for ;-)

Oh Andy, this sounds so awful, are you sure you are alright? As for your camera....I think it is a wonder that it is still working after hitting the rock. It seems they did a good job producing those cameras...."With Canon You Can"...even go flying :-))))

Good that every thing including you survived a lens hood is cheap compared waht it could have been.

ahah.... i´m glad that you did hurt yourself and the camera also my friend. The photo his beautiful.

Hope, that your Canon will servive:-) Mostly important that you are OK after your flight!
