Mittagszeit – High Noon. Kein Lüftchen regt sich, die Luft flimmert und man ist dankbar für jedes kleine schattige Eckchen. Die Sonne prallt unbarmherzig auf die die Hitze reflektierenden Steine.

Der letzte Anstieg hinauf zur Rocca Aldobrandesca. Wir schleichen fast hinauf. Im Hintergrund sieht man schon die Fassade des Rathauses. Im Haus rechts vorn befindet sich das Museo di Preistoria e Protostoria della Valle del Fiora.
Aufgenommen auf der Via Corsini in Manciano.
