the hands folded protectively around the desperate one: his huge obsidian eye full of questions and fear, the beak open in a terrified cry, the wing raised as though asking for help – a very expressive and moving image! and a good thing to try and save this endangered-species specimen's life! hope they succeeded in nursing it back to health at the shelter! kind regards, sabine.
