# Stadtwappen von Košice #
Die Symbole Košices sind das Wappen und die Flagge:
Das Wappen existiert seit 1369, als König Ludwig der Große
der Stadt das Recht gewährte, ein eigenes Wappen zu führen.
Es zeigte zuerst nur rot-weiße Streifen und drei Lilien im Hintergrund.
Die heutige Form ist seit 1502 in Gebrauch.
