I took the images with the cows from the ship and was actually quite far away with a 183.5 mm lens - please check the EXIF ....

I love these enormeous bulls with this funny hunchback (is this the correct word? - my LEO wouldn't tell me....).
However, when I recently found myself all alone with such a "monster" in a narrow street in Pushkar, I developped a slightly uneasy feeling :-)

Ohne einen solchen gäb es keine, die für die Ernährung in Indien sorgen, ohne, dass es was kostet außer Wasser. Sie leben vom Müll in den Städten, haben Besitzer und liefern Milch für Tofu und eine Art Kefir, was man in Indien gerne trinkt. Tofu aus Kuhmilch ist Grundlage für viele Indische Gerichte. Deshalb sind die Kühe heilig. Ihr Fleisch hingegen ißt man nicht. Du hast einen Prachtkerl sehr gut fotografiert. LG
