The Farm

Thanksgiving here in Canada is in less than a week .... makes me think of the work farmers do to bring us our bread, vegetables, meat and fruit ... made me remember some images I took when I just got this camera for a trip to Poland (Sept. 2007)

......... somewhere in Poland, waiting at a red light when the street was being fixed.

Die Höfe sehen aus wie vor 100 Jahren. Aber voller Leben, selbst wenn man hier nur ein paar Hühner sieht.

Hier läuft man besser in Gummistiefeln herum. ;-)
Aus meiner Kindheit kann ich mich an solche Bauernhöfe noch erinnern.

Die "Kleinen" haben es auch im guten, alten Europa immer schwerer, für mich ein Bild voll mit Nostalgie, auch wenn es noch gar nicht alt ist!
