The Fungi World (228) : Blusher
Last week a heavy storm blew over western Europe.
After the storm, I spotted this fungus floating in a lake. Squalls put an abrupt end to its life.
The Blusher got its name because its flesh reddens wherever it is damaged.
Dutch name : Parelamaniet
German name : Perlpilz
Latin name : Amanita rubescens
