The bay bolete is a common fungus in mixed forests in Europe, North America & Canada.

Can be found from august to november.

Dutch name : Kastanjeboleet
German name : Maronenröhrling
Latin name : Xerocomus badius (syn. Boletus badius)

Very nice photo, with intense colors and blurred outlines.
In my opinion, these mushrooms belong to the Boletus Edulis or Porcini family, which are very famous and appreciated in Italy. Ciao and Thank you.Stefania

Das Futter ist schon etwas groß, aber man kann es entfernen
und dann schmeckt er wunderbar!
Aber natürlich muss man ihn vorher ablichten in dem schönen Moos!
